One topic comes up every time I give a presentation or provide training – how to overcome opposition. Or, with a sigh, why are people so difficult? How do I deal with blockers?
I used to offer a few suggestions. Then I realised it was better to offer some shape and structure. So I created a framework. It starts with why: why do people block your plans, proposals, projects? Then you look at how to tackle those objections.
Each time I use the framework, more and more insights emerge as people use it, apply it, adapt it. Happy to tell you more.
